About Leah
(I wrote this personal bio in third person to sound more professional, but it’s really just me)
As a semi-recent graduate of a liberal arts school, Leah has no clear idea of what she wants to do with her life. A distant dream of hers is to open a youth hostel in Europe on a working organic farm, but for now she just wants to live nomadically…
In her free time, Leah enjoys cooking and creating new recipes, traveling, listening to podcasts, singing, playing piano, journaling, walking, petting her pets, listening to sad music and being overly nostalgic, and thinking of new ways to pay off her newly acquired student loans. Now accepting donations.
In the fall of 2018, she and her sister, Claire, returned from a 4-month long road trip around the US and Canada in which they worked on organic farms through WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms), visited family, camped, and visited many new and beautiful places.
Recently, Leah attempted to travel and WWOOF long-term around Europe and Central/South America with the intention of meeting like-minded people and gaining experience in regenerative agriculture, but the Coronavirus had other plans. Now she’s back living with her parents, doing her best to grow all the vegetables possible, learning about ecosystem restoration, and dreaming of the day she can go hang with goats again.
